Part A: (or) Why it sucks to be your boyfriend's roommate when you're sick
Pros:
~Someone to take care of you and fetch you OJ
Cons:
~He can know that you've slept for 10 1/2 of the last 12 hours.
~You look grody when you're sick.
~You couldn't be bothered to brush your hair between the shower and the crawling back into bed, so your hair dried sticking up in every imaginable direction and your hair follicles hurt entirely too much to wear a ponytail and taking another shower is way too hard.
~He gets to learn that my affection for watching Little House on the Prairie when I'm sick is not something that I'm likely to ever grow out of.
~There is a witness to the fact that I ate an entire box of popsicles in very slightly more than two days.
Part B: (or) Becoming a Fiscally Responsible Citizen, even when you're sick

A Two-Parter
I took the necessary steps to becoming a financially responsible citizen today, opening an IRA and taking steps to open an online savings account that will get 4x the interest rate I'm currently getting. Geez, talk about exhausting and overwhelming and stressful! I know next to nothing about these things, but I'm on the right track now! The next step will be distributing the IRA according to my risk/timing preferences. Eek. One step at a time--can't forget to breathe!

First of all, your use of the parenthetical "or" in your topic headings confound me. I don't care for them.
Second, its not so bad being your roommate when you are under the weather. It has led to two occurrences of uncontested TV time which i used to play some Brawl while you slept. This allowed me to play in peace as well as create the illusion that I'm not spending an inordinate amount of time playing said game.
Finally, good going on the savings account and IRA. Provided you keep up on the IRA you'll be more fiscally responsible than probably 75% of people your age. Sure you'll have less cash to blow on excessive quantities of popsicles but in 20 years you'll be able to build your own popsicle factory if you play your cards right. Imagine that!
i beg to differ, you are probably more fiscally responsible than 95% of people your age!! you need some pastina!! i didn't know you liked popsicles that much! now we just have to wait for reid to join you in the fiscally responsible club!!
