Spring Has Most Definitely Not Sprung

Well, it's Easter weekend. And that means dying Easter Eggs! I sprung for the deluxe pack - with nine colors instead of six! - and was pleased to discover post-checkout that it was only $.86 more! Here is a chronicle of our egg-dying escapades:

Here I am prepping the egg dye cups.

And here are the eggs post-dye. Only you might notice that there are eleven eggs here. Why, might you wonder, didn't we dye an even dozen eggs?

I present you what has been affectionately nicknamed "the Death Egg." There was a hard-boiling crisis for this particular egg, but we didn't want him to be left out of all the dying fun.

Here are the ones I dyed. Lovely, no?

And, lest you wish you were here to join in the springtime fun, I leave you with a picture of Chicago right now. Still pining?

That brilliantly red egg in the middle there, who made that one? It's so brilliant and red that it seems to outshine all the other eggs. Except the death egg of course. I'm dying to eat that one....hahahaa....eh.... :(
