I Hate Money

Well, it's not money I hate, it's dealing with money. I like having money. I don't like trying to invest money. And it's entirely possible that the business of getting my personal finances in a state of long-term responsibility and growth might send me over the edge and into a nervous breakdown.

So, I'm 24....soon to be 25....and I have just recently opened an IRA. But now I have to figure out what to do (how/where to invest) with the money in that IRA account. I don't know anything about this stuff! I don't know what percentage to put in mutual funds, stocks, bonds, I don't even know. I don't know how to pick which mutual funds, stocks, bonds to put the money into. I don't know anything about anything. At all. And it is daunting, to say the least. I really have no idea how to research these things and keep getting really overwhelmed.

But I will figure it out. Somehow. Some way yet to be determined.
